What kind of old RC car is this?

I recently purchsed this car at a yard sale for a dollar, and I need some help identifying it. It is in an RC 10T box, with an RC10T instruction sheet and an RC10T parts list in the box. But the bottom of the buggy is marked Kyosho. So it obviously doesnt belong with the box and instructions, or does it? The instructions dont seem to match the car. I want to find the real instructions and start replacing parts in it. Or maybe just trash it if it will cost me too much, but i figure for a dollar at the yard sale I couldnt go wrong… or did I?

I can take more pics if somebody needs more to identify it, I figure it is a long shot anyway…
