Do rc car screws have to be really tight?

My RC car 1/10 truggy's screws and parts are all loose. Do they all need to be loose or do they all have to be really tight ? Thanks

Hi DomR

The screws on your RC truggy should just be done up firm, you don't want to strip them. That being said all the screws should have LocTite (thread locker) or something similar on them to stop the screws coming loose.

Hope this helps

Not extremely. If you over-do it they'll strip easily. Just screw them in with little pressure, then maybe an extra 1/16th of a turn to finish them off.

You should try and screw them in quite tight because when you are driving it they may fall out and then you might not be able to find them.
Hope this helps!
